The Gr Robot is home assistant robot. It enables user to speak voice command to interact with others devices in homes. It control light, fan, and others home application. Gr robot could answer your question with interactive mouse and show it’s emotion with attractive eyes.
Technology
1. Communication:
- In the local network, the Node device and the GR robot communicate with each other through any protocol: pure socket, HTTP, websocket. Also, in some sensitive application there should be an end to end encryption like Diffie Hellman to avoid eavesdropping.
2. Node device:
- The Node device is made from ESP8266 wifi chip. With the strong and varies capabilities in connection, any information of control signal will be handled in a blink of eye.
3. Gr Peach Robot:
- For flexibility, the GR Peach Robot will use the BP3595 wifi module to interface with the local network and the internet
- The robot also build a wake word detection engine. It continuously listen for any sound around it, until it hear a special world (wake world), it transition to a "listen mode" and stream the audio data to our Proxy server Google Cloud Speed API.
- The GG API will return the pure text to the Proxy server, based on predefined rule and some prebuilt NLP engines, the server will determine what to do with the audio command from user (play song, control a device in a house, ask to check email, ...).
- In case of the internet is unavailable, there is a simple user interface in the LCD to manually control the device in the house.
