① Small alarm warning passive approach by another person using GR board
② Operates independently, is compact, lightweight and portable, perfect for personal use

·Tasks
① Detects motion near onself, providing personal protection which has become a problem in recent years
② Provides countermeasures for crimes against women which on are the rise due to longer working hours and more participation in with working world

·Solutions
① Vigilance against pickpockets and molesters approaching from behind by attaching device to rear of bag, etc.
② Allows for swift avoidance and preventive action concerning sudden collisions with bicycles, etc.
③ Us of security buzzer makes  other party aware that he/she is detected, hopefully scaring them off.

The rear detection unit consists of two units:
- Detection unit using a Doppler sensor
- Notification unit to notify the user of the detection result
GR - CITRUS and WA - MIKAN were used, respectively.

Future challenges:
Make the device even smaller an dmore portable.
We are also considering developing an application to make a smart phone notify the ownder directly of imminent danger.
